Description

I parked between two hospital campuses for 15 years depending on where I was needed for my OR skills. There were two medicine trees I reserved time for, spent lunches or moonlight dinners with, and always parked near.

One was Ginkgo.

The other was a gorgeous LINDEN Tree.

My last season there with the Linden Tree was special because the grounds keepers were not keeping up with the work and intense tree pruning due to the pandemic. The Linden tree branches were able to grow wild and hang down creating a little cave-like space I could park under and have to get out and hug the branches to keep them from getting stuck in the car door. Watchers would snicker as I then got to walk under this flowing cascading canopy that was dream-like and so aromatic when the flowers began! And little pinches were tucked in my pocket for tea during work (smile). Keeps a nurse’s heart strong for sure.

Linden is considered a little more off the beaten path here in the states, unfortunately!

This is not so in Europe.

Walking through the villages of France one quickly learns that one can often smell the sweet scent of a Linden Tree long before one can find it with the eyes.

Linden is one of the ingredients of my own special ‘Tea of Happiness’ blend that will bring you peaceful nights, deep informative dreams, joyful risings, and happy days, if you will take the tea in regularly. Many call Linden Tree the “Sacred Heart Tree” and also “Lime Tree”. These names help us understand the scent, taste, and some of the medicine Linden offers.

Tea of Happiness Recipe? Yes I’ll be sharing that too! It's in the recording

Linden flower tea may be the most popular herbal tea in France. Linden's lovely tasting flowers and leaves are frequently used for teas. Many lotions and skin care products also include this wonderful herb.

Linden is one of those stellar examples of a tree that has it all. It’s delicious, it’s gentle enough for children and the elderly, yet it also can be employed for serious acute problems. It addresses many body systems too and so improves the communications between them in support of healing.

Council recording PDF download link is available upon purchase.

Much love, Jen
