Herbalist-RN Quick Questions Consult
Hundreds of questions a month come in either in person, emailed, text messaged, or voice mailed. I do my best for many and keep it concise but I do miss some and in stewarding well with the plants I must request more time for other questions to be addressed well.
What many think are 'quick questions' are often not so quick depending on the nature of the conditions. For example, 'What can my Dad take for advanced prostrate cancer?' when Dad and son have had no experience with herbal remedies and dad has advanced dementia as well. You can see the injustice of a short response. Herbalists genuinely want to support people who are not feeling well. In any school of medicine, there is time needed to evaluate the situation and formulate a supportive, realistic plan.
There are also times when a fully integrative consult is just not necessary either.
This service is for those who want to connect and be in the care of an herbalist. You may be seeking answers and support around a plant(s), a condition, or navigating the modern medical system with plants in hand. You also may desire a service like this where we can build our relationship as we go, one session at a time at a cost similar to a "copay", as things come up for you around your health. Your health history will reveal itself as we have subsequent sessions at your pace, plus we get to address new more pressing issues, if they arise.
If your situation requires more time I'll state this honestly. Many often know this as well. We watch the time and adjust as we go. Many remedies are also available through the ElderMoon Apothecary, or I help you source what you need from other reputable businesses.
If your situation requires things beyond my skill, I'll state this too and direct you as best I can.
In person, skype/facetime/zoom available.
Thank you for honoring our time together and for honoring the long history of herbal medicine plants moving along with us in assistance. I look forward to working with you.
