#1 Juniper Tree
I was sitting with Juniper this morning and thinking about the decision to “sit with Juniper”. It came as a longing last year. I wanted to offer a micro-dose plant diet with Juniper in community, but that was not the plan that unfolded.
Not yet anyway.
I agreed on Winter Solstice to begin alone. We’ve been sitting together since. I feel our time easing up like the way the heat starts easing at the end of a hot summer day. You know you will be together again but pauses happen.
And in the wee hours of the morning there’s this agreement that spontaneously happened to connect deeper with the trees and sit each month with one tree for 2022.
I said “yes” with zero hesitation.
Why?
The trees are calling us. How does one say no to this?
The trees hold a unique and potent resonance. Stronger is not the word but it could be confused with strength because they are so big physically. Maybe it’s their depth? But herbaceous plants and mushrooms have depth and strength too. The language is limited and so it can be clunky and hard to describe it but the trees are commanding teachers and potent healers. So we say yes, and prepare.
