About Marshmallow Root: Our six plus feet tall Marshmallow plants have reseeded themselves in many places around the ElderMoon gardens. It's tiny, mallow-like flowers attract hummingbirds and pollinators of all kinds, and the herbalists too who harvest leaves and flowers for food. We hand dig Marshmallows' demulcent roots in Spring and Fall only when needed, scrub clean, and slice thin for tincture or drying. The medicine moves well this way for soothing all mucous linings and easing digestive, respiratory, sinus and urinary conditions.
