About White Pine: One of our favorite tree remedies here at ElderMoon - White Pine needle tea, syrup or extract will support deeper breathing and clearing of the lungs, thinning secretions, and enhancing overall circulation. We prepare the fresh needles and bark as a refreshing tea by filling a jar loosely full and adding water that is JUST BELOW BOILED, cap and wait 20-30 minutes and sip. The extract smells like a walk in the woods where the evergreen forest aroma is clearing, rejuvenating and bright. The taste is as you would imagine and like it smells, a little astringent and delicate when brewed proper.
White Pine is an amazing traditional winter remedy for respiratory challenges, snotty secretions and for when we are just feeling 'unwell', White Pine offers its fragrant green needles and stems all year long and gives add immune support anytime of year we need help.
