Description

Teasel Root Tincture is made from all organic fresh 1st year roots of this biennial medicine plant. Dipsacus fullonum - Fresh Root 1:3 40% Organic Non-GMO Cane Spirits and Spring Water.

Part used: Fresh root

Ingredients: Fresh Teasel root, certified organic non-GMO cane alcohol and pure spring water.

Safety considerations: None noted

About Teasel: A non-native biennial, Teasel flowers range from white to lavender in color. Considered an invasive species but this is long conversation as "invasives" have purpose. Teasel can be seen growing in large swaths along highways and country roads (but we don't harvest there due to pollution.) It's the 1st year fresh root that is used to prepare the extract, which we grow ourselves here in the ElderMoon gardens. Used in traditional Chinese medicine in supporting the musculo-skeletal system and strengthening Kidney yang, Teasel root has been known as an herb that mends and restores.

Recommended Dosage: We recommend the micro-dose for Teasel root at 1-3 drops, 1-3 times per day in juice or water. Please note our recommended dosage may differ from other sources.
