About: Borage is one of the best adrenal tonics for those that are completely burned out by the modern lifestyle and endless responsibilities. Deep immune support, kidney tonic and urinary tract tonic.
Instructions: Take 20-30 drops drops in juice or water, under the tongue, or as desired. May be taken 3 times daily. Shake well. Store in cool, dark place. These doses may differ from other suggestion of other practitioners.
Contraindications: The plant (but not the oil) contains small amounts of pyrrolizidine alkaloids that may cause toxicity in the liver, and Borage should never be taken in large doses (many times the recommended amount) or for a long period of time. If you are taking any blood thinning medications, speak with your doctor before using Borage.
