Herbal Foundations Level I
Welcome to a journey designed for the complete beginner as well as those who have studied a bit and want to blow a bit more life or fill in some gaps your herbal practice. We walk together weekly through one growing season in-person through gardening, harvesting, medicine making, and apothecary tending. We stay connected through ElderMoon's on-line community to support your continued growth. Our goal: to adjust the weave within the fabric of who we are so you build solid footing in managing your personal apothecary along with the many skills an herbalist requires in order to meet the needs of our families and communities. Our deepest connection we work on here is being of service to Nature through restoration of ourselves. It's easier than you think. Herbalists come in all flavors and varieties and your unique way with the medicine plants is so needed in these times.
Your tuition includes the 'Birthing an Herbalist in 13 Moons' on-line course which provides our structure so we can jump path at times to explore that which is lost in translation to an on-line experience. You receive lessons on-line for the 13 months, and you continue to have access to our on-line classroom for 2 years. You also receive access to the 'EMS Monthly Herbalist Council Meetings' for 2 years which are one hour per month, live Q&A with an herbal-oriented topic announced the week prior.
This course leans deeper into the physical side of herbalism as a foundations course for supporting you with creating a functioning personal or community apothecary, developing your relationships to your personal core plant allies, and developing the healer and seeker within that answers the call to be of service within your life.
