Yes, making a little tincture or your own cream eases the strain on the whole system. Think about it the interconnectedness of it all.
Learning how to make herbal medicine preparations is key to having good experiences with the plants as healers and this strengthens our own self-healing skills and capabilities. Course Details:
Classroom: You'll receive secure password access to our online classroom at Ruzuku. All lessons, activities, and discussions will take place in our virtual classroom. High speed internet is needed with chrome and firefox working best.
Lessons are delivered all at once. A weekly pace works but you decide what works for you. Our on-line classroom has a private discussion area for us.
Material: PDF files, audios, videos, discussion area for direct conversations and Q&A areas where I am present with you and ready to help. This course embodies the skills portion of the larger course offered here at ElderMoon School of Herbs, called 'Birthing an Herbalist in 13 Moons'. The medicine making part of the larger course has been teased out and offered here so you can begin anyway, with a commitment that is not so huge but truly forms the structure for building deeper understandings of the way of healing in rhythm with Nature. Giving you a little taste of it all is the goal, which actually is one of the most important nibbles you'll take. Cultivating your relationship with the medicine plants begins with these skills. Sometimes just starting is the hardest part, right? Here you can learn how to make some easy and potent medicines so you can feel the plants working right inside your own body. This is the focus of this course and we cover it all 10 lessons together. These are foundation setting skills and once honed, you'll always make great medicine from what the medicine plants are offering you.
Beginners Welcomed! Basic kitchen skills and tools + some repurposed or new of jars is all you'll need. Your medicine making topics are delivered all at once, in 10 Lessons, as you learn to design your own home apothecary and make your own potent herbal medicine. I suggest a 1 lesson a week pace. You decide what works for you. you have 6 months to enjoy it (though often I leave folks in longer).
